With the approaching of the summer time, the temperature is getting hotter, so is the real estate price in Greater Montreal! Let us take a look at the sales report of houses and condos in Greater Montreal for the last month!


FOR SINGLE HOUSE MARKET:

(1) The highest sold price reached $8M (Westmount), followed by $3.6M (Verdun/ile Soeurs) and $3.55M (CDN/NDG).

(2) The lowest sold price was $99K (L'ile Biz/Geneviere), then $125K (RDP/PAT), and $269K (Lachine).

(3) The top 3 areas with the most sales of single houses on Montreal island were as follows: 49 sold transactions in Pierrefonds, 41 sold transactions in RDP/PAT and 30 sold transactions in CDN/NDG.

(4) The total sales of SINGLE HOUSES in Greater Montreal for June 2021 are as follows:

  • in Montreal: 493 sale transactions and 78 rental transactions were closed.
  • in Laval: 257 sale transactions and 68 rental transactions were closed.
  • in Brossard: 61 sale transactions and 17 rental transactions were closed.

FOR CONDO MARKET:

(1) The highest sold price reached $2.7M (Ville Marie), followed by $2.6M (CDN/NDG) and $1.9M (Westmount)

(2) The lowest sold price was $126K (Mercier/Hochelaga), $175K (Rosemont & Anjour), and $180K (RDP/PAT).

(3) Top 3 areas with the most sales of condos on Montreal island were as follows: 181 sold transactions in Ville Marie, 99 in Le Sud Ouest and 956 in Mercier/Hochelaga.

(4) The total sales of CONDOS in Greater Montreal for June 2021 are as follows:

  • in Montreal: 1012 sale transactions and 821 rental transactions were closed.
  • in Laval: 152 sale transactions and 44 rental transactions were closed.
  • in Brossard: 66 sale transactions and 32 rental transactions were closed.
